This free-to-read webcomic is an endeavor I began about 5 years ago-- and I am glad to say that it is finally at a stage I can share it with you! I have the full first chapter available to read online now, and I will be updating it weekly, every Monday!

Over time, all that is left in our modern world are the few human-passing monsters that primarily reside in remote areas of the world- such as the island of Kamishima. As the human population grows, and increasingly encroaches into monster-territory, monsters must learn to assimilate the appearance and behavior of humans in order to survive. Dez is a half-human, half-oni (ogre) teenage girl, who lived in seclusion until now, and must not only make sense of the world she lives in, but also the duality of her nature."

Anyone Out There?
Hello!
It's been awhile. I haven't updated this account in years, which is a shame, because I can't help but cringe at most of the work in my gallery!
I am curious to know if anyone who follows me reads or enjoys comics, because though I still consider myself an illustrator, I have been writing and drawing a comic named Oni Girl I am thinking of sharing with all of you. I am in the process of saving funds to create a website for it, where the comic will be free to read. Of course, I was thinking of posting it here as well, as well as sketches and full-color illustrations as bonus content.

For the moment, I want to be secretive about my comic until I have more pages finished (I have the first chapter written, the overall story planned, and three pages completed), but I will say that my comic is a fantasy, with various kinds of fun monsters, but it is really about dealing with anxiety and learning to find self-love and acceptance.
Of course, I don't expect there to be much hype when I have yet to show any pages on here. I guess I am just reaching out to see if anyone reads these journals and see if there's anyone out there who would be interested in seeing my pages. I hope to hear from you and reconnect with you all after such a long time away!
